Kefir Gut Pops

Okay so I honeslty do not use kefir very often, but I think it is important to include a variety of microbes and cultured foods in the diet. So I bought some locallay sourced, grass-fed kefir and I started experimenting. I like it in smoothies, but I prefer it most in these kefir gut pops.

It is HOT in the Okanagan in the summer and all you want to eat are cold foods. These are the perfect dessert or snack for you and your kids tofill you up and help your gut flourish.

Kefir Gut Pops
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
¼ cup coconut cream
1 cup organic plain kefir
2-3 tbsp honey
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup strawberries - sliced
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Directions:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Place first 4 ingredients in the blender and blend for 10 seconds.

2. Place sliced strawberries in popsicle moulds and top with kefir mixture.

3. Place popsicle sticks in each mould and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours or over night.

4. Run hot water around the outside of moulds to release pops when ready to eat.
